Dear Bernie, I just got to reminiscing about days long past. Wayne came to mind as I knew him from the time I was a teenager - he chummed with my brother. As it turns out, I worked in the IWA office in Nelson and got to see Wayne a number of times then. I am so sorry to read that he has passed on. My sincere sympathy to you and all of his family. My favourite memory with Wayne was the last one we got to spend with him. Bernie, Cody, Jacqui and I all went out for dinner for his birthday and took some pictures together. Then later we had a fire and watched the stars as Wayne and Cody reminisced over their many camping adventures. Wayne, you were and still are a beautiful soul. You are missed and will forever remain in our memories. RIP.
