Obituary of Franco Leschiutta

Giorgio Franco Leschiutta
July 19, 1950 ~ October 16, 2019

With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and well- known teacher on
Oct 16, 2019 at age 69.

Born in Valvasone, Italy  and relocating at a young age to Canada, Franco’s heart was always with helping others. He decided on a teaching career, and was well respected by his many students and peers. Franco taught many young minds in Fernie, Jaffray and Cranbrook over his wonderful career. His family was always his priority, and time spent will be
cherished forever.  Franco was so loved and will be sorely missed .

He is survived by his wife Sonja, daughter Lindsay, grandson Luca, son in law Jeremy Falk and mother Bruna.
He was predeceased by his father Giuseppe and brother Olympio.

A private service was held Monday October 21, 2019 honoring Franco's wishes.
