Dear Elliot and family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Heather’s passing. I worked with Heather at FVAA when she taught music there. She was always so joyful and her smile and positive attitude always brightened any room she was in. I pray that you will feel God’s presence and comfort during this difficult time. God bless you all. We will be praying for you all.

So many fond memories of Heather. Canoeing the Bowron Lake chain, many hikes and just as many parenting activities. Always smiling and an infecticious laugh. Most importantly everyone always knew following Jesus Christ was #1 priority in Heather's Life. Truly an inspiration that brought many others closer to God. Our comfort is that we know we will meet again.

Very shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Heather's passing. She made a huge impact on my life during her years at FVAA. It was such a blessing to witness the way in which she nurtured and loved her students. There were many times I was amazed by her love for her students and wished I could have even just some of her positivity. It was always so inspiring to see how passionate she was about uplifting God through the music she shared. Her guidance and belief in me led me to follow in her footsteps. Without her encouragement, I would never have experienced those meaningful, life-changing years as a student at CUC and later as a teacher at FVAA, and for that I will always be grateful. In your time of grief, I hope you will find some comfort in knowing that Heather's legacy of extraordinary kindness and love will never be forgotten.

Heather was one of my very first friends. We were best friends for years as young children, especially as our birthdays were only a day apart. We lost touch years ago, but I have thought of her often with fond memories. What a tragedy to lose her so young. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Heather was my best friend at CUC. We would do a lot of fun things together, and along with Joel Reyes and Dennis Mahoney we would visit other churches and do a presentation for Sabbath school. We even visited a synagogue once, which was her idea. She got along well with everybody. My deep condolences to her family. I look forward to seeing her again in heaven.

We were sorry to hear the news of Heather's passing. As a friend at Kingsway, a fellow Frenda staff member, and a friend again at CUC, Heather was always a fun, musically gifted, and sweet person. My wife Sandra and I enjoyed being involved with her in music in college. We have good memories of her. It is disconcerting how many people from our KC graduating class of '85 have died at way too young an age. I am sad to have seen too many of my close friends from high school go to sleep in death. I am thankful for the hope in Christ that we have. Our condolences to Heather's family. Darren Godsoe

Mrs Tam made a significant difference to my life in high school. She always took the time to share her love and kindness. She loved being a music teacher and a mentor although she would never call herself that. Got to meet her several times as an adult and the thing that struck me was how much she loved her life with Elliiot and being a mom. So sorry to hear for your loss!

I am one of the many students that took choir with her over the years at FVAA. She was a great teacher and woman. She believed in me when I couldn't find my voice. She will be dearly missed by all.
