Obituary of James Richard Croston

On Saturday, November 9, 2019, James Richard Croston, passed away at the age of 41. He was a long-time resident of Cranbrook and worked as an advocate for special needs individuals. James brought a smile to those around him with his quick wit and would lend a hand to anyone in need! His love for nature brought him to Cranbrook and it was here that he found himself truly at home. Camping and kayaking with his two children were among his favorite activities. He was also an avid gardener and collector.

 

James was never one to want focus on himself and as such, there will be no service held. A private engagement will take place in the spring for immediate family and close friends.

 

On behalf of James, the Croston family wishes to thank the community and friends of James for the incredible amount of support through his journey. It is very heart warming at a time like this to live in a community full of selfless people and “thank you” will just never be enough!
