Obituary of Michael Barry Newell

January 9, 1951 - October 25, 2010

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Barry Newell on Monday, October 25th, 2010.

Michael was the beloved husband and best friend of Patricia Lorane Newell. He is survived by his brother, John (Sandy) Newell, his three children, Jody (Martin) Durkin, Alison Newell, and Ryan (Tina) Newell, his two stepdaughters, Tracy Young (Mark Bell) and Jennifer (Derek) Bird, his beloved nephew with whom he shared a special bond, Mark Elliott, and his many grandchildren, friends and relatives. Michael was predeceased by his father, Patrick Newell, and his mother, Victoria Newell.

He was the friend, riding partner, and hunting buddy to many fortunate people and will always be remembered for living his life to its fullest.

At Michael's request, there was not a funeral or a celebration of life but thank you to all who came to share memories of him on Saturday, October 30th, 2010.
