Our hearts are with all of Newts Family.
He holds a dear and special spot within our family.
We first bonded at an auction out in Yahk- where my son and Newt became fast friends over a silly accordion they had a bid war over. We soon learned we were neighbors and his Grandson was a lacrosse player as well- the friendship was easy and delightful. Over the years Newt would drop by for tea ( which really meant dropping by a new bird)
He taught Kole so much about Doves and other farm critters and educated and helped us around hoof trimming and other practical animal husbandry things.
He always was at the rink when his grandson was playing lacrosse and was always holding me a seat to sit and watch.
Newt was a gem. Our friendship with him is so very cherished. Love to you all as you move forward without his cheeky grin and twinkle in his eye.
Good innings Newt- you will be missed.

Joyce we were saddened to learn of Newt’s death and send you our sincere sympathy. Bruce loved his monthly trips to Kimberley with Newt as Newt always had a story to tell. May your lovely memories of Newt help to sustain you through this very sad time.
We are unable to join you at his Celebration of Life as we will be away, but certainly our thoughts will be with you and your family.
Sincerely
Bruce and Sharon.

I am sorry for the Dean family's loss. Newt will always hold a special place in my heart and will forever have fond memories at the race track. He's probably talkin' horses with grampa. (Slim Ross) I'm sure he is up there with Penny on that golden sulky cart. Big hugs to you Joyce.
