Bonnie, John and families:
We apologize for not being able to attend the celebration of your son’s life. Losing a child is an experience that no parent should have to endure. But, life does not give us any guarantees. Nor does it give any false promise of immortality. Instead it gives us brief episodes of intense pain and grieving, as well as episodes of extreme joy. The painful memories will become less intense, and less painful, but will never go away completely. The joyful memories, his smile, his laughter, and his gentle nature, are yours to lock in your hearts for eternity. They will always bring you comfort and peace.

From when Tyler growled at me as a little tiger when we first met,or he carried my gear up the Bugaboos, Tyler was always a kind and caring soul with a big heart and awesome sense of humour! My heart goes out to you, Bonnie, John, and Justin... Please know you are so very loved.

Sending hugs and love to the Hayes Family. One of my greatest memories with Tyler was playing house hockey and getting the opportunity to play hockey in New Zealand. Still my all time favourite trip. Tyler, you will be so missed.
