Ted (Edward) Fiddler It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Ted Fiddler on January 13, 2020. He passed away peacefully with his three daughters and brother, Joe, by his side. He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Louise Fiddler. Louise is currently at the F.W. Green Home in Cranbrook if you would like to visit her. He also leaves behind his four children and their families, Stan McKenzie (Melody and their children), Suzanne Fiddler (Cole), Sharon Penney (Russell, Matthew and Brennan), and Sheila Hansen (Ken, Rebecca and Curtis). Ted is also survived by his one sister, Rose Marie Schneider, and his two brothers, Joe (Alex) Fiddler and Clayton Fiddler. Ted was born on June 7, 1935 in Prince Alberta, Saskatchewan. On November 16, 1957 he married Louise in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In November 1969 they moved to Kimberley with their four children. Ted worked for Crestbrook Forest Industries in Canal Flats until his retirement in 1989. Ted and Louise moved to Cranbrook to be closer to their family in 1992. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. As much as the fish at White Swan won’t miss Ted, all of the rest of us will. There will be a Celebration of Life at McPherson Funeral Services on Friday, January 17, 2020, at 1:00pm. In the spring, Ted’s ashes will be placed in Serenity Gardens where he will wait to be joined by his love, Louise. Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
