Obituary of Karen Jane Corkle

1951 - 2010

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Karen Jane Corkle announces her passing on Monday, November 8, 2010 in Cranbrook, British Columbia, loosing with her fight with cancer.

 

Karen was born on June 12, 1951, in Blairmore, Alberta. She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband Bill Corkle, of Kingsgate; two sons: Vern (Carmela) and Darren (Kim) and her only grandson Rhys; one sister: Gina Biles, all of Kamloops; one brother: Barry Crate, of Louis Creek; step-father in-law: Bob Kilgore, of Kingsgate; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, sister and brother in-laws. She was predeceased by her mother; Elaine Jenson, of Nelson and her mother-in-law Doreen Kilgore of Kingsgate.

Respecting Karen's wishes, no funeral service will be held. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Karen may do so to the: Canadian Cancer Society, 19 - 9th Avenue South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2L9.
