Obituary of Sharon Williams

Sharon Williams 1949 ~ 2020 Sharon Williams passed away peacefully on February 17, 2020 with her family by her side, at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. She was 70 years young. Sharon was born November 28, 1949 in Edmonton, Alberta to William and Marion Follis. She married the one and only love of her life Bruce Williams August 16, 1969. Bruce preceded her death in 1997. Sharon was an extremely thoughtful, loving and caring mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her cherished family the most. She enjoyed her Thelma and Louise outings with her dearest and closest friend Leanne Duthie. Sharon is survived by her three children, daughter Dani Williams (Shane) and their children Trevor Loren and Darian Berry, daughter Darcy McInnes (Brad), their children Hayley and Jocelyn McInnes, son Bruce Williams (Dwayne) and grand-dog Chad, her siblings Bill Follis (Dianne), sister Wendy Courtemanche (Maurice) and sister Maureen Follis (Terry) as well as many nieces and nephews. Sharon is also survived by her best friend Leanne Duthie (Rob). Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday, February 29, 2020, 1:00 pm at the Cranbrook golf course.
