I met Joyce through Cranbrook Kimberley Hospice Society and very quickly felt her warm presence and support in my life. She will always hold a dear place within me and I cherish the moments that we had together. Both Art and Joyce always made me feel welcomed and supported. I was blessed to know her. Last Christmas she gave me a charm to hang in my window and it reads "Be joyful, patient, and faithful". I will always cherish that gift. Thank you Joyce & Art for your love. *Janyce Bampton*

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves us, for they are still alive in our hearts, through us, they live on. At this difficult time in your lives, I pray that God will grant you all the peace that you need to get through this. My sincere condolences, I was deeply saddened to read about the loss of your mother! Joyce was a beautiful giving, loving woman and will truly be missed by all the people she has touched in her time here on earth.
May God give you strength. Christi Campbell

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to send our thoughts and memories about your mom, Aunt Joyce.
The early memories we have begin in Beiseker when our family would travel there to see both our grandmothers, aunts and uncles, cousins and whoever was in town. It was always a great visit to see Aunt Joyce and hangout with the cousins.
Aunt Joyce was always there at birthdays, anniversaries and get-together's at mom & dad's place. Aunt Joyce always had something funny to talk about or say. We had many good laughs with her!
Aunt Joyce always welcomed us to their campground in Fort Steele, laughing and smiling. A positive person with all our interactions with our family.
The few times Jeff and Deborah made it to Cranbrook, they called passing through and were always greeted warmly, but she was a busy lady and Deborah only got to meet her once, that was just before Uncle Lawrence passed which was completely understandable.
Aunt Joyce was able to make a trip to Kamloops to see our brother, Michael during his final days in the hospice. We, as a family, felt this was so thoughtful and caring, and so much appreciated. This is how we knew her to be.
Aunt Joyce was a very special lady and we will miss her.
To the family; We know and understand your heartfelt loss. We can only hope Uncle Lawrence and Aunt Joyce are at the same dance that mom and dad are at, having a great time. They will live in your heart's forever.
All our love and hugs to your family for your loss.

I find it hard to believe that Joyce is no longer with us. She was such a kind, considerate woman. I worked with her at the Key City and went to the Locals shows with her. She was always fun loving, generous and sincere. I know you will miss her terribly. She always seemed so happy to be doing things with Art. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of working for Lawrence and Joyce when they owned the Wildhorse campground and they were just the best bosses I ever had. We were great friends as well and it was a sad time when Lawrence passed away. Joyce an I were both involved in walking for our health and remained friends all these years. She lived for her family and her grandchildren and will be missed by many. Condolences to all her family. RIP my friend

Dear Art and families, Joyce was one of the most loving, compassionate, considerate people I ever have had the pleasure of meeting. Her & Art welcomed us to Cranbrook & included us in so many events, making us feel more at home in Cranbrook. Always saving a spot for us to sit with them at the key City Theatre, with that big, loving smile on her face. Will miss you so much Joyce, especially those wonderful hugs. Until we meet again.
With deepest affection,
Tony & Janice Collins

Dear Art and Family
It is with sorrow that we learned of Joyce’s death. Our paths crossed frequently at the Key City Theatre and many times at church. She was a kind and understanding person and we will miss her presence everywhere, not only at the church, but around the community as well. May her soul rest in peace.
In Sympathy
