Obituary of Angela Paulson

1941 - 2010

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Angela Paulson announces her passing on Saturday, November 27, 2010 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 69 years of age with her family by her side.

Angela was born on April 2, 1941 in Cranbrook. Angela was an only child who very much enjoyed her life on the farm and living in the Mayook valley where she attended grade school. In 1963, Angela married Harvey and they moved to Cranbrook where they raised their family while enjoying 41 years of marriage. Angela worked for Miller & Brown and BC Gas. She was a gentle kind person who especially enjoyed her grandchildren, family, and friends.

Angela is survived by her son Allan (Elaine) Paulson; daughter Diane (Albert) Penson; grandchildren: Justine and Christopher Paulson, Curtis, Derek, and Wade Penson; sister-in-laws: Irene (Gordon) Kaun and Faye Younghusband; and brother-in-law Vaughan (Karen) Paulson. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey Paulson; her mother Katherine Anderson and her father Henry Anderson.

Visitation for Angela will take place on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook from 5:00 pm until 6:45 pm. Prayers for Angela will follow at 7:00 pm. Her funeral mass will take place at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in Westlawn Cemetery following the mass. A reception in honour of Angela will take place at the Heritage Inn Hotel in Cranbrook at 12:30 pm following the Interment.
