We were very saddened to hear of Sylvia's passing. Our firm enjoyed a long relationship with Sylvia, delivering programs in the wider community that were designed to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals, through employment, training and self development. For Sylvia this was not a job, but a life mission and for her, clients were not numbers but real people who needed a hand up. She was lovely to work with, a real person and a good friend to all of us.

Sylvia was always a pleasure to meet around town. She had a positive take on everything she was talking about and an opinion for sure. Sylvia served the Cranbrook community in many ways, including many year on the Board of Directors for the Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club. Sylvia brought an expertise, commitment an energy and sense of humour to this organization. Sylvia will be missed by many and remembered for her contribution to family and community.
My regards to Ray and Sylvia’s family,

Dear Ray, Trish, Sean and families,
I was so shocked to see this terrible news. I know how precious you all were to her and how much you all will miss her. She was your rock, the centre of your family, and the joy in your home. I always loved my visits with her. Sometimes it was hard to get the work done as we were too busy chatting - usually about all of you. My deepest condolences to all of you. She will always be remembered in the hearts of those that were lucky enough to know her.
