Obituary of Tom Moon

June 1947 – April 2020

On April 24, 2020, Tom Moon of Marysville, B.C., moved on peacefully to heaven,

into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and faithful friend.

He loved horticulture and took much pleasure in admiring all of God’s creation.

Tom loved the outdoors and never tired of watching the birds and deer behind his

home. He loved to hunt and fish and always longed to hike up over the next hill

with his faithful furry friend Dino.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Elaine, four sons: Chris, Brian (Rachelle),

Steven (Shauna), and Garrett (Sarah). Deeply loved and cherished grandchildren: Emilie (Sean), Mackenzie, Ethan, Gabrielle, Leah, Seth, Elijah, Levi, Madeleine, and great granddaughter, Tegan.

His sister in law Jane Harding, brothers John Moon (Wendy), and Bob Hutchings as

well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Vivian, stepfather Bob Hutchings, and brother Rick Hutchings.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date when large gatherings are

permitted.
