It is with great sadness that the family of Victoria Gaschnitz announce her passing.
Vicki passed away at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital on September 18, 2020 with her children by her side.

Vicki was born in Bellis, Alberta and later moved to Smokey Lake where she spent her younger years on the family farm. Family was the most important thing in Vicki’s life.  She loved gathering with all the different generations, often preparing home cooked meals. There were many hobbies and activities that she enjoyed-golfing, fishing, camping, playing horse shoes, cards, gardening, crocheting, embroidery, jigsaw puzzles and singing.

Vicki was predeceased by her parents Sanda and Bill Lenko, five brothers-Al, Andy, Roy, Art, Vic and two sisters Pearl and Helen.  She was also predeceased by her husband Bert.

She is survived by her three children, Brian (Mary Ann) Gaschnitz, Judith Gaschnitz, and Debra (Steven) De Cecco.  She also leaves behind 7 grand children, 7 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
