So sorry to hear about Sandy’s passing. He had such a presence in our community and I always enjoyed having a spontaneous deep conversation with him. His wisdom and compassion was hugely appreciated when Tim was ill and Sandy offered his mental support to him. Thinking of you, Janice and Dylan, and sending lots of love and light your way.

Sad to hear of Sandy's death. He saw I had a knack for first aid and encouraged me to enter the Cominco tourny by having camping and fishing prizes. Once I was in the safety office with him he gave me great advice and philosophy to help straighten my ways. A man of wisdom, enjoyed his sharing with me. Condolences to his family, he was a good and true person

Janice and family. Sincere condolences for your loss. Sandy was instrumental in helping me return to Kimberley, hiring me to be part of the Cominco family. And he became a friend and a great source of kindness and wisdom. I will long remember his smile, laughter and deep discussions over coffee at The Bean Tree. Truly he will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the family----Sandy was one of the first guys I worked with when I joined Cominco. I always admired his integrity and "we can do it " attitude. Over the years he has popped into my mind numerous times when a situation would arise---and I would think "what would Sandy do " We've lost a good one here. Bob Chesham

We are very sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. Sandy was a year younger than myself and we went to school in Kimberley at the same time. We would always have great chats when we ran into each other and though we were not among his close friends, we felt his warmth and presence when ever we ran into him. David and Patricia Stock

A beautiful obituary for a beautiful soul. My life has been touched by Sandy's presence and my heart is heavy knowing he is no longer physically with us. Sandy recently paid me a compliment, one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me. I will never forget this, and will never forget Sandy!
