I had just read of Dick's passing today and wanted to express my sincere condolences for your loss. Growing up I would often see Dick at Nana Edie's and Uncle Ed's house when we visited on Sundays. My dad Bob had also told me many stories of good times he had with Dick and also what great friends they were despite their age differences. I recall a story when my mother Barbara was on a double date with Dick and my dad Bob. It seems Bob liked Barbara so much that the next night Dick and Bob switched dates and well the rest is history.
In my memories growing up Dick was always laughing and really seemed to enjoy his life and everyone in it. I had last spoken to him a couple of years ago when I had some questions about my family history. He will be sadly missed.
