I/we will miss this man. His life experiences were beyond what many could only wish for. Daryl told me he lived with his grandparents , close to Montreal, in the winter months when he was a boy. This was close enough to the "forum" so he was able to get them to see a few games with his old hero's, (Richards-Beliveau and the others)! His stories he told me of his working years. His travels were beyond ones own wishes. He pulled out his photo albums one time I visited him, but time was lacking to see them all. Trips up the Dempster Highway (twice), to Alaska, North Western B.C. And how he would remember facts along the way when talking about them. His knowledge on various products and his grin he would produce when talking about them. And about a cup of Tim's. That will carry on into the future for sure and all with a thought or a memory of Daryl between members in the booth. God Bless him. We love you both Joan.
