Dear Raeanne, So many good memories have been shared with you and Randy since we first met in Windermere, nearly forty years ago, camping out in Cec's yard! Randy was a kind, compassionate, considerate, good-humored gentleman, husband, father and friend who was taken from us too soon. I’m so honoured to have known Randy most of my life. He taught me boat safety and how to waterski. For that I’m so lucky. We got to spend many Christmas traditions together and he was always happy to see me with a hug. Keg suppers, birthday celebrations and was even my manager at Safeway and gave me my first “big girl “ job. He treated me like a daughter and gave me so many happy times. Norma will be waiting for you Randy. You will be missed so much. Waves of grief will come and go but the mountains shall bring peace to the people. With love, Kim Avery

Raeanne, Jason and family, we were saddened by the passing of Randy, not only was he a mentor to me at Safeway but also became a good friend over the years. Mandy and I have so many great memories spending time with Randy and Rae both at Safeway functions and get togethers in Windermere. Randy will be missed, our condolences to the family.
