Obituary of Mark Alexander Busato

January 19, 1950 – June 29, 2021

 

With sadness the family of Mark Busato, announces his sudden passing on June 29, 2021.

 

Born in the little town of Michel Natal, B.C. on January 19, 1950, to Gino and Margaret. Mark has lived in the East Kootenays his whole life, and loved the mountains, lakes, and beauty that this area offers.  He married his best friend Rita in 1979, and they raised their two wonderful children Dawn and Rick together. Mark was boisterous, but a genuinely loving person. He would give you the shirt off his back, even though he worked very hard for that shirt. He gave us so many memories to cherish, we are sad to have to say goodbye. We will miss you.

 

Mark is survived by his wife Rita, children Dawn & Rick, brothers & sisters Ila and Sandy Douglas, Marie & Ed McKimmie, Hope & John Medcalf, Vicki & Kim Spence, Angelo & Lori Busato, Guy and Sherry Busato, many nieces, and nephews.

 

At Mark’s request there will be no services.
