Obituary of Annie Maria Morosoff

August 26, 1917 – July 18, 2021

 

Annie passed away peacefully at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital on July 18, 2021, in her 104^th year.

 

Annie was born in Canyon City, B.C., the second child of Axel and Terese Berggren.  She grew up in Canyon and loved to tell

stories about life on a fruit farm. She was known for her quick laughter, adventurous spirit and generosity. She welcomed everyone into her home and was always ready for a game of cards.

 

The family is grateful for the wonderful times we had together. She will be missed but know that her love and laughter will live on in the hearts of us all.

 

Annie is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

 

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Samuel Morosoff, brother Ivan Berggren, son Larry Morosoff, nephew Jake Morosoff and niece Bernice Brown.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Annie’s memory can be made to the Red Cross, EKRH foundation for health or a charity of one’s choice.
