It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jim. He passed away in his home, after a long battle with stage 4 COPD. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Lise, family, and many friends.
Jim had many passions in life. In his younger years he was very athletic, he loved boxing, men’s fastball, arm wrestling, hockey, golfing, bowling and fishing. Jim loved music and he would often sing to Dwight Yoakam, Willie Nelson, Old Time Rock and Roll, and many other artists. He loved all animals and at one time even had a hobby farm. He liked to visit the local pubs to socialize with his many friends who called him Mckimmer or Kimmer. He was well known for his hair-lip jokes and he spent many Fridays dancing the night away with his wife, Lise. Jim Worked for the Labourers Union, Local 1611, for 40 years.
Jim is survived by his wife Lise McKim, his stepson Michael Lloyd, his brother Mick McKim (Betty), his numerous in-laws and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Fern and Phil, and his brothers Larry, Phil (hubcap), and Tom.
