Obituary of Catherine Mary Mottl

January 28, 1940 – September 7, 2021

 

Ena was born and raised in Northern Ireland. Ena met the love of her life Gerry in June of 1965, and they were married on April 16, 1966, in Nova Scotia. Ena and Gerry moved to B.C., to be closer to family in 1974 to raise their sons Karl & Michael. Ena was a stay-at-home mom and travelled with Gerry on his many adventures for work and with the Lions Club.  Ena loved her family and always shared her time with tales of Northern Ireland and her family there.

 

Ena is survived by her son Karl, daughter in law Karen, her two grandsons Christopher (Kendra) and Nicholas, her two granddaughters Ashley & Alexandra and her great granddaughter Amelia, her brother Hugh and sisters, Mary and Lauree, and many other extended family in the United Kingdom and Canada.

 

She was predeceased by her husband Gerry in 2016 and her son Michael in 2002.

 

A Funeral Mass will be held September 10, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Church in Jaffray, B.C., at 1:00 pm, with Burial at Sand Creek Cemetery, Jaffray, B.C.following the Mass.
