I worked with Pat at the Forest Service and kept up with him after I retired. Pat was a quiet fellow until u got to know him. Was a hard working guy who put his head down and went about his business. Will be sadly missed. Keep on truckin Pat. Jack Selman

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of one of my oldest and dearest friends. Deepest condolences to Annica and all his loved ones. I have so many fond memories and good stories about Pat....we met in grade 8, hit it off right away, and remained lifelong friends ever since. If I have learned anything from this, it is don't put off plans for too long. I've been thinking about Patty a lot lately and kept saying I would pop in for a visit, and now it's too late. My condolences to you Annica (beautiful job on the eulogy) and you as well Leslie, it is indeed sad we often meet this way, instead of like BJ says and do it while we are alive. I remember Pat for his sly smile, great sense of wit and some really cool quotes. He once wrote an article in the school newspaper saying disco is just a flash in the pan, give him "ear throbbing, gut wrenching Rock n Roll", I could go on with them, I'm very glad to have met Pat, he was a real character and my friend.
