What started out as co-workers at Copper Point very quickly blossomed into a fantastic friendship. I am happy to be able to have so many wonderful memories of our time both at work and after. Kym was always up for a good time - our after work golf games when we'd laugh so hard, the endless selfies, the many antics of the annual fashion show where Kym refused to wear anything pink, birthday celebrations eating cake right off the plate with a spoon, fun with the Copper Pointer Sisters and the special bond of

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart. This is how I feel about my friendship with Kym.
Kym lived life to the fullest and she loved to have a great time, always making sure that we celebrate everyone’s birthday.
Kym you were taken from us way too soon, but your memories will stay with me forever.
I know that you up in heaven getting together with your friends & family and organizing a get together.

I was blessed to have gotten to spend time with Kim. We became friends when I started work at Copper Point, Kym added me to the group as part of the copper sisters and many good times were had from there. From kayaking to golfing, games and birthday suppers. There is never a dull moment with Kym around she would always come up with some kind of idea to do something. Will miss her laugh and her friendship. Condolences to Wes, Bailey and Kirby. MARGO Bradley

Dear Wes, Kirby and Bailey you are in our hearts and prayers.
Dean and I feel blessed the day we met Kym & Wes at the Golden GC, they were playing behind us and Dean commented “Wow, can that gal ever smack a ball!” Me not being much of a golfer, when they caught up we said golf on thru and Kym said no let’s join up! Best decision we have ever made! But this speaks to who Kym was, she always lived in the moment, enjoying the day and the new people you meet on the journey. She was gracious and caring and always made people feel special and welcome. She was an amazing women. I feel so sad having to use the past tense.
Our friendship bonded over dinner and a few sips of red wine! Dean and I looked forward to our annual trips to Fairmont to hook up with Kym and Wes for lots of laughs, golf, dinner, floats and of course a few sips of red wine!
I know her spirit will live in all who knew her and she will be dearly missed.

Kym, Kymmie, Auntie Kym. An amazing woman, friend, and the best nerds partner you could have. Listening to stories- the late night singing and of course witnessing all the mooning when leaving the breakfast club weekends are memories I will cherish forever. My very favorite memory though would have to be at my wedding when the group got up and sang me the most incredible song.
I hope you’re having a cold one up there with Wader, Kym. Until we meet again-xo Amber Love (Jeffrey)

Wes, Kirby and Bailey my heart goes out to you all. Thoughts and prayers to all her family and friends. Kym was an amazing lady with a heart of gold. I've known her for many years growing up. We played fastball together and she coached our volleyball team in high school. She will be missed so much. God bless

Although I never had the opportunity to meet Kym, her generous spirit was such that her passing is felt across the country in Ontario. Kym has been such a positive influence for my daughter Cat. Knowing how respected and loved she was by her, I had nothing but appreciation for the wonderful woman she was. I just know her daily prescence and mentorship will missed. Hugs to her family and friends.

A toast of the best to the best. A lady with an infectous smile, a creator, a planner, a protective mother, a partner, who loved, was loved, never sat on the sidelines, loved to laugh, lived for the day, played to win and won. Cheers to you Kym Walstrom.

Kym was a truly wonderful woman - absolutely the life of the party, wicked sense of humour, with style and flair to BOOT. She was a breath of fresh air, and a force to be reckoned with! Kym valued her time like no one I had met before, she handled things like a BOSS, and having her as my boss in the accounting department at Copper Point changed my life for the better. Kym took me under her wing and I am so grateful for that, getting to learn from her all about the role at work, on the golf course, and beyond - living it up, chatting over wine or laughing along down a river float. Kym had her priorities straight: family, friends, and FUN. Kym, it's hard to accept that you are gone, you were such a large part of so many people's life and hearts, lighting up every room and situation with your refreshing personality. My heart breaks for Wes, Kirby & Bailey - the most tight-knit family unit of 4, celebrating everything together with so many awesome family traditions; even a lot of her work passwords had something to do with her beloved family! Kym, you inspire me in so many ways, and I will continue to be inspired by your impeccable attitude and life outlook for the rest of my days. Miss and love you always Kym xoxoxoxo gone too soon and never forgotten xoxoxo

Kym loved practical jokes and many were on her family here at Copper Point. The many times people would go into her office and pick up a torn $5, $10 or $20 dollar bill stuck under a chair or cabinet and then hear that unforgettable laugh. The famous $5 is still in it's original position waiting for the next victim.
Thanks for all the laughs Kym; we'll do our best to continue the laughter you brought to us!!
Schaalzy!!
