Obituary of Linda Blow
Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
1954 - 2021
With heavy hearts, we join to announce the passing of Linda Blow on October 13, 2021, in Cranbrook, British Columbia at the age of 66.
Linda was born on December 31, 1954, to John and Helen Dyck, in Brandon, Manitoba. They lived in Alexander until 1967 when the family relocated to Penticton, B.C. A short time after, at a local skating rink, Linda met Alan Blow, the love of her life. They were married on November 25, 1972. Two daughters, Karri and Dionne, followed, and by 1979, a career opportunity took the young family to Lloydminster, Alberta. A devoted stay-at-home Mom, Linda made some of her closest friends in Lloydminster, many of whom she remained in contact with after she and Alan moved to Cranbrook, B.C., in 1992.
Mom's most treasured quality and lasting light was her indomitable kindness and ability to see the good in everyone.
Linda leaves to mourn Alan, her husband of 49 years, daughters Karri (Jason) and Dionne (Rene), grandchildren Jakob, Erik, and Rhiannon, sister, Melanie, brother Bryan, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members who loved her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local mental health society.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
