Darcy and family, I was sad to hear that your Mom has passed away. I enjoyed working with Florence at the pulp mill and came to know her as a very special and kind lady. She was a perfect Mill Manager Secretary! She never got flustered - even the day she arrived with a smashed windshield and a huge rock in her lap which had fallen off a chip truck and struck her car! My Mom often did her hair and the three of us would have wonderful chats, which included updates about her family and apartment life. Our thoughts and prayers are with all. I was sad to hear that Florence had passed away. I always enjoyed being in her company on the golf course. When I moved to Marysville she quickly welcomed me with a batch of her homemade cookies. That was Florence, always giving, always smiling. My deepest condolences go out to you, Darcy, and your family.
