Aunt Donna was the youngest of my Grandma's three daughter's. My Grandma would take me to visit her and her family in Woodstock, then in Guelph, then in Cranbrook, BC. Although I didn't spend as much time with her as I did my other aunts, I was always impressed with her grace, humour and strength. Having talked with her on the telephone several years ago, I thought of her recently and discovered she had passed some time ago. Sending sincere sympathy to my cousins, Danny, Ginny and Joey. Sending love to my Aunt Donna. Picture of Grandma, Paula, Ginny, Danny, David and Greg c1960

I remember my Aunt Donna as a vibrant, energetic, loving person with great capabilities. She was the youngest of my maternal grandmother's three daughters. My Grandma took me to visit her regularly in Ontario and later in BC. Aunt Donna came back to Ontario only once to visit and we enjoyed a family dinner cruise on the Grand River. A great lady who touched my heart and will remain in my memory forever. RIP Aunt Donna xox

Donna was a wonderful person she always seemed really happy to see me and we would have a visit. My earliest memory of Donna was playing on a new ballgame, we were really bad! One girl batted and ran straight to third base, well I thought she was going to have a heart attack! She got us going in the right direction and it was fun playing with her. Although she did roll her eyes a lot! RIP Donna you made a mark on your life, that will not be forgotten❤

Linda’s memory was one I was going to share, I too thought Donna was going to have a heart attack, but even though she was beyond embarrassed because of us she was still really supportive for how bad we were.
She was a lovely woman. My husband Ted has many fond memories of Donna working the early shift at the Tri-Way . He says she was always so kind and cheerful and took the time to chat with customers and make them feel welcome and valued. Sending our heartfelt sympathies to her family.

Donna was a lovely lady. I can remember many occasions preparing meals in Ladysmith (not Nanaimo) while pregnant with her grandson Jonathan. She made beautiful pickles. My mom met her in 1981 and we had a tremendously good visit in Ladysmith. She was the first babysitter for Jonathan. His love of sports obviously came from her influences. I only heard today about her having passed away and I truly mourn your loss. I am so sorry for you Virginia and Dan and Joe. Please know I think of Donna and Jim often and offer my condolences on this, the most awful times. Love Liza

I worked with Donna at Sally Ann for probably 10 years. She was a great person, we had many laughs. I also played on the seniors ball team when they needed help and had lots of fun there too. Condolences to Virginia and all the family. She will be missed
