Obituary of Marguerite Louise Corinne (Garneau) Backman

A heartfelt tribute to our magnificent mother, grandmother, sister, cherished friend and lover of fury friends. Corinne was born and lived most of her years in Kimberley BC raising her family and caring for many in the community, most notedly as a hard working compassionate nurse. She is deeply loved by her daughters, Heather Hepworth (James) & Maya Huppie (Brian); granddaughters, Kianna Blanchette (Tyler) & Shamaya Blanchette (Jesse); great grandson Zayden Jack; sisters Marie Kozak & Eileen LePage; five generations of extended family; and numerous special friends. We will proudly carry her gracious spirit deep within our hearts! Until we meet again. At Corinne’s request a private family service will be held at a later date.
