Obituary of Leslie LaRiviere

Leslie LaRiviere (Thomson)

July 12, 1963 – October 6, 2022

 

Leslie passed away October 6 after a brief illness at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C.

Leslie was born in Edmonton and moved to the valley after a hectic career in marketing in Vancouver. She loved the Valley and met her husband, Guy, here.

She is Survived by her husband Guy, mother Pat (Stan) Bartz, sister Susan McLellan and brother Christopher; nieces and nephews Nikki (Emma), Melissa (Jaida), Josh Benjamin) and Matthew. Leslie was predeceased by he father Lorne Thomson.

Leslie’s passion was he love and caring for animals. She spent several years at ICAN in an administrative capacity. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Invermere ICAN Foundation would be Leslie’s wish.
