Obituary of Doreen Catherine McNab

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doreen McNab on December 24, 2022 at the Pines Care Home with her family by her side.

Doreen was born in Edmonton, Alberta and will always be remembered for her big heart, wide smile, and her laugh. She was a social butterfly and loved everyone she met. In later years she became a personal care attendant, when she started going to daybreak she always said “I gotta go to work!”.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Perceval and Eva, four brothers and one sister, her son in law Rosaire and her faithful companion Mickey.

She is survived by her five children: Doug (Gina), Dorothy, Candas (Tim), Susan (Brian) and Neil. Doreen also had four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

At her request there will be no service, a family service will follow in Calgary at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Garden View and The Pines for such great care over the years, also Dr. Clay for his many years of care. We really appreciate you all.
