Obituary of Bob Vern Deptuck

Bob Vern Deptuck, beloved husband, father grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 15th, 2023 in Cranbrook, British Columbia, at the age of 74.

Bob was born on October 19th, 1948, in Trail, British Columbia. Bob lived a full and joyful life, and his passion for outdoor projects and gardens was evident in his beautiful home and yard. He also loved spending time with his dog, Chicca, taking her for long walks and spoiling her with affection. Bob was a talented dancer and enjoyed teaching others how to dance. He had a zest for life and enjoyed many outdoor activities, including cross country skiing, biking, and even water skiing.

Bob worked in the plumbing industry for many years, and after his retirement, he started his own business, Happy Duck Sprinkling, which he was incredibly proud of. He had a positive outlook on life, and his happiness was contagious. His upbeat attitude and kind spirit overflowed onto all those who were close to him.

Bob will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his memory will live on in their hearts forever.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday April 29^th, 2023 at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook, British Columbia.
