Obituary of Georgina Steinrigler

Georgina “Joan” Steinrigler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 82.

 

Throughout her life, Joan had a variety of interests and hobbies. She was an avid bowler, golfer, and curler, and loved nothing more than spending time outdoors with her family. She also had a talent for cross-stitching and knitting, and her family treasures the beautiful artwork she created for them over the years. Joan was a devoted fan of the soap opera Days of Our Lives, and never missed an episode.

 

Despite her many interests, Joan's greatest joy in life was her family. She loved nothing more than watching her children and grandchildren grow and was a constant source of support and encouragement to them. Her legacy lives on in her loving husband of 63 years, Bob, her children, Susan, George, and Judy, her granddaughters, Stephanie, Lea, Holly, and Kyrie, and her great-granddaughters, Taylor, Brooklyn, and River.

 

Joan was predeceased by her brother Roy Abbey in 1960, her mother Margaret Abbey and step-father Roy Abbey in 1992. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
