Obituary of James O'Neill

O'Neill, James (Jim)
March 6, 1937 - August 15, 2023
Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 86.

Although he moved to Langford 11 years ago, he spent most of his life in and around Kimberley.
He:
- Worked at the Crestbrook pulp mill, where he spent some years as union president,
- Volunteered as a 4-H leader for many years,
- Served on the Kimberley Hospital Board,
- Coordinated volunteers for the Accordion festival,
- And as a senior, bowled, did floor curling, and played bridge.

Jim was predeceased by his wife Eunice 23 years ago. Fondly remembered by daughters Ruth, Kathleen (Tony) and Maureen (Steve); and  grand-children Patricia, James, Ryan, Lucas and Benjamin.

A service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic  Church in Kimberley at 11 am on August 25, 2023.
