Obituary of Sever Rondestvedt

Mr. Sever Rondestvedt, age 91 of Kimberley BC., passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

Our Dad left a legacy of kids, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren with a love and respect for nature and the outdoors. He was dedicated to his family and the community.

He taught us to value ourselves and our health so we could value the same in others.

His, "Do it Till You Can't", motto, kept him on his bike, climbing mountains and skiing long after most his age had stopped.  

He loved Kimberley, its history and the town he grew up in, retiring there after 30 years in the big city.  The ski hill, the people, the Rocky Mountains, Cominco Gardens, Pines Memorial and the Mining Railway were his passion.  

Left to mourn, are his 3 kids, Karen(Gord), Gretchen(Paul), Pete and all his extended family.

A Memorial Open House will be held on September 17th, 2023,  from 1:30 - 3:30pm at Trickle Creek Lodge, large reception room , 500 Stemwinder Drive ,Kimberley, B.C.
