Obituary of Katryna Sigurdson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Katryna (Kat) Sigurdson.  

 

Kat passed away surrounded by close friends on the evening of October 24th, 2023 in Kimberley, BC. 

 

Katryna was born on March 19th, 1975 in Terrace, BC. She is survived by her daughter Katelynne, her parents Linda and Wilf Kelbert, sister Connie Hentschel (Wolfgang), her fur babies and her many extended family and friends, who she held so close to her heart. 

 

In her short time here she made such a huge impact and will be remembered fondly by all for her caring nature and fierce loyalty.  She devoted much of her time to the community volunteering for M.A.D.D., the Special Olympics bowling team and various other organizations. She will be greatly missed.

 

A celebration of life will be held in Kimberly,  BC in the late spring or early summer of 2024. More details will follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to M.A.D.D. Kimberley/Cranbrook.
