Hey Mom, I still think about you all the time. I keep a picture of you around so I can still talk to you. I wanted to apologize for not being around more often. I missed out on so much over the last few years. My most recent picture of you is 7 years old. We were video chatting while I was in Calgary and you were at the lake. Your birds are back, and Dad's taking care of them. He's doing ok. He keeps busy a lot, but that probably doesn't surprise you. I've just been having a rough week and needed to talk to you. Love you mom. Say hi to everyone for me.

My heart goes out to all of Jenny's family. Jenny was one of the kindest loving people I have had the honor to met. When I worked for her family she would always take the time to have a special morning chat with me. No matter how busy she was she always checked on me. She truly was my work mom. Sincere condolences to Dave, sons David & Andrew and their families. Jenny's adored grandchildren and to Jenny's family and many, many friends. Jenny's smile and laughter will always be what I remember. Although our families had been close with our BC Hydro connection - Jenny's Dad Basil and brother Ken both working with my Dad, Rola Hogan, over many years, I knew Jenny best from working together at Kootenay Advertiser. You could always count on her sunny smile and warm humour. Our hearts ache for all who loved her so dearly.

To all of Jennifer's beautiful, loving Family, and friends; My heart goes out to you all! It is so hard to write down the wonders of this close loving family. I was very lucky, to have grown up with this loving family! I was very close to Bonny and Coleen, Jennifer hung around more with my cousin Chris, but we were all very close! It was in the last two years, that I finally got up to Cranbrook, Bonny put Hazel and me up in her camper two times, and what a reunion!!!! Dorothy and Betty were there too! we all had such a wonderful time! It was like old times!! The only difference was we did crafts and played cards instead of running after footballs and trying to hit baseballs! I was so excited to see Jennifer's beautiful home and meet Dave the Love of her life! I got to meet some of the grandchildren and sons. We need to be so thankful for the love we share and for the blessings of having such beautiful souls in our lives.

Jenny was my closest friend from grade 3 until the family moved to Cranbrook. I did make it up to visit her in Cranbrook when I was 14 and again at 16. It has been 50 years since I last gave her a hug but I have never stopped thinking of her. We both got married the same year and both had sons. I will never forget you my friend and you will forever remain in my heart and my thought! Miss you always my friend. Tina Ewing

My deepest condolences to Dave and family. I was saddened to hear of Jen's passing. I met Jenny in the late 80's when I pumped her gas at the Turbo station on Van Horne street. We always had a chat and a laugh. We have crossed paths several times especially at the Bingo hall. I will aways remember her for her infectious laugh. RIP Jen.
