Obituary of Frederick John Spencer

 

Frederick John Spencer was born in Wrexham, North Wales on June 22^nd, 1931. He came to Canada as a young man and trained as an architect. He was passionate about his career and travelled the world as part of his profession. John was an artistic man with a great interest in photography, painting, and drawing.

John married Gerta Ernst and they enjoyed a happy life. They lived in many different locations in Canada and even Bermuda. John and Gerta retied in Kimberley BC, where they enjoyed hiking with their many friends. In retirement, John continued to pursue his hobby of photography.

John passed away 92 years of age at Joseph Creek Care Village in Cranbrook BC on December 31^st, 2023. John was predeceased by Gerta in 2010.
