Obituary of Alana Jean Capilo

1965 - 2011

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Alana Jean Capilo announces her passing on March 12, 2011 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 46 years of age.

Alana was born in Cranbrook on January 13, 1965. She is survived by her mother Annie Jean; her auntie Florence (Fudge); her brothers: Terry White (Cecilia) and children: Karolyn, Mae, Sonny; Dave and children Mary, Pam, Felix and Fiona Capilo; Roland (Sarah) and children Neil and Logan Capilo; Troy and children Brittany, Damien, Tabi, Brett Capilo; her sisters: Kay (Jim) and children Remus, Vickie, Jayme and Keith; Deanna White; God parents Allan Andrew and Lillian Antelope; numerous cousins, relatives and friends in the USA and Canada. She is predeceased by her father Felix, her grandparents Nick and Mary Francis; Dave and Suzette Capilo; sisters: Karen, Joyce and Wendy; aunts: Rosalie Morris, Agnes Pearson, Rosie Capilo, Becky Michel; and her uncles: Jack and Willie Stevens and Abel Capilo.

A wake for Alana will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 5:00 pm at the Aqam Band Hall and her funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Aqam Band Hall. Her Interment will follow in the Aqam Cemetery.
