So many memories come flooding back of our families together. So many summer vacations at Peckham’s and our family’s close relationship spanning many decades going back to when our mothers nursed together in Chilliwack and then again in Creston. Our parents truly shared a great friendship and all are gone now. Fondly remembered by the “Canning’s”; Jan, Cathy, Shelley and Nancy.

We were downstairs neighbours of Elisabeth and Albert at Mountain Meadows. Elisabeth and I (Joan) sometimes walked the surrounding area together. I found her to be a delightful gal, very much her own person, very proud of her Welsh heritage. She was delighted and proud of you dear children and families! We send heartfelt condolences to John Albert, Iva and Wendy, and may you each be blessed now to know that your dear mom has reached her time of rest. - Al and Joan Manjak
