Obituary of Richard Herbert Wells

Rick lived in the valley most of his life. He will be missed for his kind heart and gentle soul, artistic talents, love for animals, and music.

Rick is survived by his sisters Liesa Taphorn (Trevor), and Susan Kelly (William), brothers Daniel Demmon, Robin Wenger, Lauirie Wenger spouse Theresa Wassing, children Daniel Chingee, and Tristan Mauerer as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Rick was predeceased by his mother Theresa Wells (1994), dad Herbert Wenger (1994), and sisters Trudy Wenger (2018), Myrna Lynn Wells, Janet Wenger

We will hold a Celebration of Life at Sam Steel Inn (12 8th Ave S, Cranbrook, BC), on Sunday, March 3, 2024. 12 pm - 4 pm. We welcome everyone for refreshments, and a chance to share some memories. We will proudly be displaying a variety of work Rick created over the years, if anyone has any items, they could loan, or provide a picture of, it would be greatly appreciated.

Rick was cremated and his ashes will be interred in Invermere in the Spring.
