Our heartfelt condolences to all the Sorensen family. Chris was a wonderful human being and a great colleague of mine during the many years together with the McDonald’s Family and especially the many years that we were part of the S.O.K.K.C.O. Business and Advertising Group. One of the many memorable times we had together was during the many competitions that we had at the annual McDonald’s McNugget Golf Tournament especially all the negotiations for strokes before each golf game. He was a tough competitor and negotiator but in the end it was all about fun and Fellowship.
R.I.P my friend.

Chris was the best business partner I ever had. As an investor in EK radio he frequently offered timely advice on financial matters but basically left us alone to do our jobs. For years in July we went on a helicopter fishing trip to fish some of the best backcountry lakes the Kootenay’s had to offer. It was there I and my friends really got to know Chris well.. He loved and respected this wonderful place we are all fortunate to call home. He also was an avid hunter and we shared many an elk hunting story around high country campfires. Rest in peace my friend.

Chris was always such an upbeat and positive person making you smile back. Our heartfelt thoughts for the families and I am absolutely sure that there are a lot of hockey stories being told amongst the stars. RIP
