Obituary of Crawford John Law

It is with great sadness that we announce that Crawford John Law, 73 of Cranbrook BC, passed away suddenly on April 21, 2024, at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook.

Son of Lloyd Law and Isabel Brooks, Crawford was born October 10, 1950, at Hamilton, Ontario. Crawford leaves behind son Shaun, daughter Kari(Steve)Tschetters, grandson Jaymin Tschetters, Granddaughter Jade(Nick), brothers David(Nadine), Donald(Linda), Cecil(Susan), Roger, sisters Mary Jane(Ivan) Howard, Nellie(Brian)Howard, Pat(Colin) Smith, sister in-laws Bernice Corneliuson, Priscilla Straub, Patricia Phillips, Lynne Drobot and also leaves behind a multitude of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces family and friends.

Crawford was predeceased by wife Debbie, and brother Lloyd Benjamin.

He retired from working as a Machine Operator in 2015. Co-workers and friends knew him as "Claw". He took pride in his baking and loved spending time in his garden. He always enjoyed having coffee with family and friends. He looked forward to traveling to Revelstoke to visit family. On Saturday nights in the summer, you could find him listening to music in the park on his family's porch with his dog Shasta. Kari and Shaun would like to thank the Nurses in the ICU for taking care of Crawford during his last moments. He will be greatly missed.
