Judith Anne Wright (nee Lloyd), 76, passed away on June 17, 2024 in Cranbrook, British Columbia. She was born in Calgary, Alberta.
Judy spent much of her days giving her time to many community organizations over the years such as Maverick Riding Club, Cranbrook Hospital Auxiliary, Cranbrook Quilters Group and the Local Lapidary Club.
Judy was an accomplished artist, quilter, and painter. Her love of history led her to study and collect details and history of the family genealogy and the history and stories of people in the Kootenay area.
Judy loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Judy is survived by her husband Tim Wright, son Wayne Wright, son Aaron Wright (Teresa), brother Barry Lloyd, sister Janice Lloyd, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Judy was predeceased by her brother Jim Lloyd, and father James Lloyd.
A Memorial Gathering in Judy’s honour will be held on August 10, 2024 at the Cranbrook History Centre, 57 Van Horne St. So, Cranbrook, BC, Cranbrook, BC.
