Allen Law has been an inspiration to me throughout my life. I met the family through his daughter Joy, 64 years ago when I moved into their neighbourhood, in Quebec. She and I were inseparable through our teen years and I always felt welcome in their home, like being part of the family. I was often included on their family weekend trips to the cottage that he built. His strong faith guided him through his life and it was evident by his calm, kind and caring nature by all who were lucky enough to know him.
In his later years when his health began to slowly decline, he never seemed to let it get him down. He never complained and continued to do the things that he was still able to do, with a smile and a few laughs. His strong and constant love for his family kept him happy and he knew that he was loved tenfold in return.
Allen will be missed by many and he will be remembered forever.
