Merle, itis coming up to 1 year ago that we lost you,I still have some very tuff days thinking of our late night talks and lots of laughs.Imiss you soo much. When I was in hospital recoverying you were in my thoughts and prayers, I hope I can be as strong as you were.As Annie has said she in my gardeing angel watching over me and many others.I miss our friend ship we shared in some happy and some uhhappy sighs.I want to wish your family all the best. Anni, Arletta and Family.... It is with the heaviest of hearts that we heard of your Mom's passing. There was not a person more lovely in our lives...and we shared many great memories and laughs together. Your Mom's love for both of you and her grandchildren will live on forever, not only in our memories, but through each of you. Merle was a wonderful neighbour for about 18 years. Two single moms, we were there for each other when needed. Girls - her quirky humour, lovely smile and helpful nature will never be forgotten. Merle has been my friend for over 30 years and I will miss that friendship and her sense of humour. Two of my favourite memories of Merle are from when we worked together at Mecman Engineering. She did a bang-on impression of Carol Burnett's character "Mrs. Wiggins" and would type really fast, then blow on her fingers as if they were on fire! She would deliver something to my offiice, turn to leave and do the "Mrs. Wiggins shuffle" - butt sticking out, short little steps. I am very grateful for the time we recently spent together in Vancouver. Sincere condolences to you Anni and Arletta, Heather Grant
