Charlie Claydon

Obituary of Charlie Claydon

Please share a memory of Charlie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

1926 - 2011

Charlie was born July 6th, 1926 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and later moved to Victoria, B.C. Working as an electrician he was all over the province until he re-located to Cranbrook. Working for BC Hydro for the last few years of his career also kept him on the go. A simple but very intelligent man, Charlie could do most everything himself no matter what the project. He will now be happy with his wife Phyllis, who we all dearly miss.

Charlie passed away at the Cranbrook Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 and is survived by Wayne and Sue Claydon, Howard and Sharon Claydon, Wendy and Bud Hansen, Sharon and Doug Jacobs, Perry Claydon and Athena Young, Catherine and Dave Bogstie, and numerous grand kids and great grandkids, as well as his sister Jean Mozel and her husband Al.

By Charlie's request there will be no service.

Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
