Betty Lou McBurnie

Betty Lou McBurnie passed away at home on October 9, 2024. She was born in Cranbrook, BC on December 20, 1932.

Betty was the firstborn child of Ruth (Annie) and Jeff Townsend. She is survived by her siblings Charlotte (Lotty) Tiffin, Jessie Michel, and Elvin Townsend. Betty was predeceased by her husband Everett (Ez) McBurnie in 2001, and her sister Elva Elder and brother William (Billy) Townsend. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Betty was generous and ready to help others with her smile and quick wit. She had full confidence in the promise that Jehovah God long to bring those who have died back to life. She is waiting for the time when ‘He will call’ and ‘she will answer’. (Job 14:15) Until we meet again.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.

At Betty’s request there will be no service.
