Obituary of Ruth Mathilda Gionette

1924 - 2013

It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin Ruth Gionette on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 88 years of age.

Ruth is survived by her children Suzy (Terry), Lenny (Deb), Sherry (Lonnie) and Julie (David), her grandchildren Richie, Stacy, Dave (Kim), Nicole, Phoenix (Kris), Andrew, Ryan, A.J., Mandy and Matt, her great grandchildren Tyler, Jason, Zachary, Hillary, Ashlyn and Bryson, her brothers Wesley (Dorothy), Roscoe (Helen), her sister Adele (Archie) and her sister-in-laws Aggie, Barb and Hazel, her brother-in-law Leo and her beloved poochie Kado. She was predeceased by her husband Pat Gionette, her daughter Patsy Gionette-Cole, her mother Ora Dalke and father Emil Dalke, her brothers George, Roger and Gary Dalke and her sister Mettie Charette.

A graveside service for Ruth will be held for the family on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Invermere Cemetery. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Invermere Legion at 3:00 pm for the eulogy. Memorial donations in honour of Ruth can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, BC & Yukon Division, 1501, 4330 - Kingsway, Burnaby, British Columbia, V5H 9Z9 in lieu of flowers.
