Obituary of Grace Christena Snyder

Grace Christena Snyder, 75, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024 in Invermere BC. Born Oct 11, 1949 in Massillon, Ohio. She grew up in
New Iberia, Louisiana with some post secondary schooling in New Orleans and eventually moving to Fort Worth, Texas.
Known to everyone as Chris, she began her career in the health care field in Fort Worth Texas before moving to Canada in the early 1980s. She
transitioned from health care to a successful career in business and eventually became a Health Care Aide, dedicating herself to helping others
until the age of 64. A free spirited soul, Chris had a deep love for books, nature and animals, especially her beloved dog, BJ. She was well read, well educated and was a great conversationalist. She was a good friend, touched the lives of many and will be profoundly missed.

Chris is survived by her loving children, Angela (Rick) Kubian of Invermere, and Andre (Marie) Camors of Milton, ON as well as her cherished
grandchildren, Natasha, Michael, Milla and Adam. Her sister Jackie (Bob) Scott and niece Sarah (Matt) Morris of Van Alstyne, Texas. Her nephews
Norm (Jen) Snyder, and Scott Snyder of Winnipeg. She is predeceased by her brother Norm Snyder and parents Charles and Florence Snyder.

The family wishes to thank all of the dedicated health care staff who so graciously cared for Chris during her last years.

As per Chris’s wishes, no funeral will be held. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
